Ingredients:
500g / 1 lb ground beef1 packet taco seasoning1/2 onion, chopped1 cup biscuit mix + 1/2 cup milk + 1 egg (or 1 can crescent dough / cornbread mix for base)1 cup sour cream1 cup shredded cheddar + Monterey Jack1/4 cup diced tomato + green onions for topping
Instructions:
Beef: Brown beef + onion, drain fat. Add taco seasoning + 1/4 cup water, simmer 3 mins.Base: Mix biscuit mix, milk, egg. Spread in greased 9-inch pie dish. Bake 5 mins at 350°F / 175°C.Layer: Spread sour cream over base, top with beef, then cover with cheese.Bake: Bake 20-25 mins until cheese bubbly and base cooked.Serve: Top with diced tomato and green onions.
