Ingredients

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup flaxseeds
  • ½ cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, or walnuts)
  • 1½ cups rolled oats
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil or olive oil (melted)
  • 1½ cups water
  1. Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, combine all seeds, nuts, oats, and salt.
  2. Add wet ingredients
Stir in water, oil, and honey. Mix well until everything is fully coated.
  3. Let it rest
Leave the mixture for 1–2 hours (or overnight). It will thicken as the chia and flax absorb water.
  4. Shape
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper and press the mixture firmly into it.
  5. Bake
    • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F)
    • Bake for 20 minutes, then remove from pan, flip, and bake directly on rack for another 30–40 minutes
  6. Cool completely
This is crucial—let it cool before slicing so it holds together.
  • Slice thinly—it’s very dense and filling
  • Toast slices for best texture
  • Store in fridge up to 1 week or freeze slices
  • Rich in healthy fats (omega-3 from flax & chia)
  • High in fiber → good for digestion
  • Naturally gluten-free (if using certified oats)
