Keto Breakfast Buns

These fluffy, savory Keto Breakfast Buns are perfect for a low-carb breakfast or snack. Packed with protein and healthy fats, they keep you full and satisfied without spiking your blood sugar. Soft, cheesy, and slightly crispy on the outside, they’re a delicious way to kickstart your day.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder (optional)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add wet ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the eggs, melted butter (or coconut oil), cream cheese, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
  4. Combine mixtures: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring well. Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese until a thick dough forms.
  5. Form buns: Divide the dough into 6 equal portions. Shape each into a bun and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.
  6. Bake: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the buns are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  7. Cool & serve: Allow the buns to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy them plain or with your favorite low-carb spread!
