Ingredients
- 1 large French baguette or Italian loaf
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
- Spread the garlic butter generously over the cut sides of the bread.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan evenly over the top.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- For a golden, crispy top, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
- Let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.
