Ingredients:
Lemon wedges, for serving
4 lobster tails (fresh or frozen)
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp dried parsley
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Prepare the Lobster Tails: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Use kitchen shears or a sharp knife to carefully cut along the top of each lobster shell lengthwise, exposing the meat. Gently pull the meat out, resting it on top of the shell (a method called “piggybacking”).
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a rich sauce.
Brush the Lobster: Place the prepared lobster tails on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Generously brush the garlic butter sauce over the exposed lobster meat. Ensure every inch is coated with flavor!
Bake the Lobster Tails: Bake the lobster tails in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and firm to the touch. For accuracy, check the internal temperature—it should read 145°F (63°C).
Serve and Garnish: Remove the lobster tails from the oven and drizzle any remaining garlic butter sauce over them. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with lemon wedges for a bright, zesty kick.
Tips for Perfect Lobster Tails:
Thawing Lobster: If using frozen tails, thaw them overnight in the fridge or under cold running water before cooking. Avoid Overcooking: Lobster can turn rubbery if overbaked, so keep an eye on them! Broiling Option: If you prefer a golden, caramelized finish, broil the lobster for the last 2 minutes.
