Ingredients
Ice cream
- 1 cup heavy cream, cold
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- ½ tsp vanilla
- Pinch of salt
- ⅓ cup mini chocolate chips
Cookie dough
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter, softened
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- ¼ tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips
Method
- Heat-treat the flour: Microwave the flour for about 1 minute, stirring halfway, until it reaches 165°F/74°C. Cool completely.
- Mix butter, brown sugar, white sugar, milk and vanilla. Stir in the cooled flour and chocolate chips. Make tiny dough balls.
- Whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Gently fold in condensed milk, vanilla and salt.
- Fold in most of the cookie dough balls and chocolate chips.
- Spoon into a small container/cup. Top with the remaining dough and chips.
- Freeze 4–6 hours, or until firm. Let sit for 5–10 minutes before eating.
Tip: For the tall, soft-serve-like look in your picture, use a piping bag or scoop the slightly softened ice cream into a cup and pile it high. 🍪🍦
