Ingredients

  • 1 large French baguette or Italian loaf
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Pinch of salt
    Method
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the bread in half lengthwise and place it on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
  4. Spread the garlic butter generously over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella, cheddar, and Parmesan evenly over the top.
  6. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. For a golden, crispy top, broil for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.
  9. Let cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.
