Ingredients
For the dough
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp plain yogurt
For the garlic herb butter
- 4 tbsp melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh dill or cilantro, chopped
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Make the dough: Combine flour, salt, sugar, and yeast. Add warm water, yogurt, and olive oil. Knead for 7–8 minutes until soft and smooth.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Prepare butter: Mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, dill, chili flakes, and black pepper.
- Divide the dough into 10–12 balls. Roll each into a thin circle.
- Brush with the garlic herb butter. Fold or roll the dough over itself, then gently flatten and roll again into a round flatbread.

- Brush the hot breads with more garlic herb butter and sprinkle with fresh herbs.
- Serve warm with yogurt, cheese, curry, soup, or your favorite dipping sauce.
