Ingredients:
- 4–5 medium cucumbers (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup sour cream (or Greek yogurt)
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 6–8 strips cooked bacon (crispy, chopped)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill (or 1 tsp dried dill)
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder (or 1 fresh garlic clove, minced)
- Salt and black pepper (to taste)

- Prepare cucumbers:
- Wash and thinly slice the cucumbers.
- Optional: Sprinkle a little salt and let them sit for 10 minutes, then drain excess water (keeps salad from getting watery).
- Make dressing:
- In a large bowl, mix:
- Sour cream
- Mayonnaise
- Lemon juice/vinegar
- Garlic
- Dill
- Salt & pepper
- In a large bowl, mix:
- Combine:
- Add sliced cucumbers into the dressing.
- Mix gently until well coated.
- Add toppings:
- Stir in shredded cheese and green onions.
- Sprinkle crispy bacon on top (or mix some inside).
- Chill:
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
🍽️ Tips:
- Use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream for a lighter version.
- Add a pinch of sugar if you like a slightly sweet taste.
