Ingredients

  • 400 g milk chocolate
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 300 g roasted peanuts, unsalted
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter (optional)
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for shine)

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate: Break the milk and dark chocolate into pieces. Melt in a microwave in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, or use a double boiler.
  2. Mix: Stir in the peanut butter and coconut oil, if using.
  3. Add peanuts: Fold in the roasted peanuts until evenly coated.
  4. Prepare the tray: Line a 20 × 20 cm (8 × 8 inch) pan with baking parchment.
  5. Spread: Pour the mixture into the pan and spread evenly. Gently tap the pan on the counter to remove air gaps.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate for 2–3 hours until completely firm.
  7. Cut: Remove from the pan and cut into squares or rectangular bars using a sharp knife.

Tips

  • Keep the peanuts whole for the appearance shown in your picture.
  • Use good-quality chocolate for a rich flavor.
  • For a glossy finish and firm snap, temper the chocolate instead of simply melting it.

Storage: Keep in an airtight container in a cool place or refrigerate in warm weather.
