Ingredients

  • 2 cans tuna, drained (about 10 oz / 280 g)
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup frozen peas, thawed
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese, small cubes
  • ¼ cup finely diced red onion
  • ¼ cup diced celery
  • ¼ cup diced pickles or relish
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Crackers, for serving

Method

  1. Make the dressing: Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
  2. Combine: Add tuna, peas, cheddar, red onion, celery and pickles. Gently mix until creamy.
  3. Chill: Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes so the flavors blend.
  4. Serve: Spoon onto crackers or serve as a sandwich filling.

Tip: For the chunky texture shown in the photo, keep the cheese and vegetables in small cubes and don’t overmix the tuna.
