Ingredients

Instructions
Step 1 – Prepare the Bologna
Using a knife, make small cuts around the edges of each bologna slice. This prevents the meat from curling while frying.
Step 2 – Heat the Pan
Place a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter.
Step 3 – Fry the Bologna
Add the bologna slices to the hot pan and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned and crispy around the edges.
Step 4 – Toast the Bread
Lightly butter the bread and toast it in the skillet until golden brown and slightly crispy.
Step 5 – Melt the Cheese
Place cheese slices over the hot bologna for about 30 seconds until melted.
Step 6 – Assemble the Sandwich
Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the toasted bread. Add fried bologna, melted cheese, and pickle slices. Add any optional toppings if desired.
Step 7 – Serve Hot
Close the sandwich and serve immediately while warm and crispy.
