Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- ¾ cup unsalted butter (softened, room temperature)
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- ½ cup white granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Add-ins:
- 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk)
🥣 Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Oven & Tray
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F)
- Line a baking tray (like in your picture) with parchment paper or lightly grease it
Step 2: Mix Dry Ingredients
- In a bowl, whisk together:
- Flour
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Set aside
Step 3: Cream Butter & Sugar
- In a large bowl:
- Beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar
- Mix for 2–3 minutes until light, creamy, and fluffy
Step 4: Add Eggs & Vanilla
- Add eggs one at a time
- Mix well after each addition
- Add vanilla extract and mix again
Step 5: Combine Dry & Wet
- Slowly add dry ingredients into the wet mixture
- Mix gently (do NOT overmix, or cookies will become hard)
Step 6: Add Chocolate Chips
- Fold in chocolate chips evenly
Step 7: Shape the Cookies
- Scoop dough using a spoon or cookie scoop
- Place on tray with small gaps
- Slightly press them flat (since yours look evenly shaped)
Step 8: Bake
- Bake for 10–14 minutes
- Edges should be golden brown
- Centers should still look slightly soft
Step 9: Cooling
- Let cookies rest on tray for 5 minutes
- Then transfer to a cooling rack

- For extra softness:
👉 Use more brown sugar than white sugar - For thicker cookies:
👉 Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking - For gooey chocolate:
👉 Add extra chocolate chips on top before baking - Don’t overbake!
