  • In a large bowl:
    • Beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar

  • Add eggs one at a time
  • Mix well after each addition
  • Add vanilla extract and mix again

Step 5: Combine Dry & Wet

  • Slowly add dry ingredients into the wet mixture

Step 6: Add Chocolate Chips

  • Fold in chocolate chips evenly

Step 7: Shape the Cookies

  • Scoop dough using a spoon or cookie scoop
  • Place on tray with small gaps
  • Slightly press them flat (since yours look evenly shaped)

  • Centers should still look slightly soft

Step 9: Cooling

  • Let cookies rest on tray for 5 minutes
  • Then transfer to a cooling rack

🍽️ Tips for Perfect Cookies

👉 Use more brown sugar than white sugar
  • For thicker cookies:
👉 Chill dough for 30 minutes before baking
  • For gooey chocolate:
👉 Add extra chocolate chips on top before baking
  • Don’t overbake!
👉 Cookies continue cooking after coming out

🧁 Optional Variations

  • Add chopped walnuts or almonds
  • Use dark chocolate chunks
  • Sprinkle a little sea salt on top for a bakery-style taste
