Ingredients

For Dough:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter (soft)
  • 1 egg

For Filling:

  • 1 cup cooked chicken (shredded) OR minced meat
  • ½ cup chopped capsicum (green pepper)
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce or ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (grated)

For Topping:

  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander or parsley

🍞 Instructions

1. Prepare Dough

  • In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast
  • Let it rest for 5–10 minutes until foamy
  • Add flour, salt, butter, and egg
  • Knead into a soft dough
  • Cover and let it rise for 1 hour

2. Prepare Filling

  • In a pan, cook chicken/mince with onion and capsicum
  • Add salt, pepper, chili flakes, and sauce
  • Cook for 5–7 minutes
  • Let it cool, then mix in cheese

3. Shape the Bread

  • Roll the dough into a large rectangle
  • Spread the filling evenly
  • Fold or roll the dough
  • Cut into strips
  • Twist each strip like shown in the picture

4. Baking

  • Place on a baking tray
  • Brush with egg wash
  • Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes

5. Final Touch

  • Brush with melted butter
  • Sprinkle fresh coriander/parsley
