  • ½ cup milk

1. Prepare Peach Filling:

  • In a pan, add sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and water.
  • Cook on medium heat for 5–7 minutes until peaches become soft.
  • Mix cornflour with a little water and add to the pan.
  • Stir until the mixture becomes slightly thick like syrup.
  • Turn off heat and set aside.

2. Prepare Batter (Topping):

  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Add milk slowly and mix into a smooth batter (not too thick).

3. Assemble the Cobbler:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
  • Add peach filling evenly over the butter.
  • Gently pour the batter on top (do NOT mix).

4. Bake:

  • Bake for 35–45 minutes until the top becomes golden brown and crispy.
