1. Prepare Peach Filling:
- In a pan, add sliced peaches, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and water.
- Cook on medium heat for 5–7 minutes until peaches become soft.
- Mix cornflour with a little water and add to the pan.
- Stir until the mixture becomes slightly thick like syrup.
- Turn off heat and set aside.
2. Prepare Batter (Topping):
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk slowly and mix into a smooth batter (not too thick).
3. Assemble the Cobbler:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
- Add peach filling evenly over the butter.
