  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • One tbsp sugar
  • Half tsp red chili flakes

INGREDIENT NOTES:

BRUSSELS SPROUTS:

  • Brussels sprouts are the basic component for your recipe. You will use fresh ones so they do not change shape. Their texture is also very good for pickling. You will also get a good taste from using them in your recipe. Add small broccoli pieces if you need another idea.

WHITE VINEGAR:

  • Your brine will get a strong taste from using this. White vinegar will make your recipe’s flavor tangy as well. This vinegar can also preserve the ingredients in it for a long time. You may utilize apple cider vinegar for another choice.

WATER:

  • We will add water to this recipe so the solution becomes smoother. Also, water is helpful in maintaining the strong acidic flavor in your brine.

GARLIC:

  • The smell of your frog balls and their solution will boost if you add it. Also, garlic makes the flavor of your recipe savory. Add a little garlic powder if you need another substitute.

SUGAR:

  • The taste of your recipe will become mild from it. Sugar will include sweetness and maintain any extra sharp taste in your brine. Use maple syrup if you require something else.

SALT:

  • You will use salt because it is necessary in your recipe. Salt will preserve the ingredients in your brine and boost their taste as well.

BLACK PEPPERCORNS:

  • These will make your recipe rich. Your frog balls will also become spicy from adding them. You will use them for adding a traditional flavor to your pickled jar.

MUSTARAD SEEDS:

  • Mustard seeds will make your Brussels sprouts taste sharp. Also, you will feel a warm taste if you add them to your jar.
