For the Dough:
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 3/4 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the Filling:
- 1/2 pound thinly sliced ham
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Add the dry ingredients to the melted cheese mixture. Crack the egg into the bowl and mix everything together until a dough forms.
- Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a rectangle.
- Layer the ham and cheddar cheese evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the dough into a log, similar to a cinnamon roll.
- Slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick rounds and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
