- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ cups flour

- 1 tsp black pepper

- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder

🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Marinate
- Whisk buttermilk and egg.
- Add chicken and marinate at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours in fridge).
2️⃣ Breading Mix
- Combine flour, cornstarch, and all seasonings in a shallow bowl.
3️⃣ Coat for EXTRA Crunch
- Remove chicken from marinade.
- Press firmly into flour mixture.
- For thicker crust: dip back into buttermilk, then coat again in flour.
4️⃣ Fry
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Fry 3–5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temp reaches 165°F.
- Drain on wire rack (not paper towels — keeps them crispy).

Replace flour + cornstarch with:
- 1 cup crushed pork rinds
- ½ cup grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp almond flour
Follow same steps. Air fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes or bake at 425°F for 18–22 minutes.
