Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ½ cup pitted dates (or raisins)
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch (for thickness)
  • ½ cup fresh cream or thick yogurt

 Instructions (Blender Method)

  1. Add bananas, milk, dates, cream/yogurt, cornstarch, and vanilla to a blender
  2. Blend until completely smooth
  3. Pour mixture into a saucepan
  4. Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until thick (5–7 minutes)
  5. Stir in chopped nuts
  6. Pour into cups or glasses
  7. Let cool, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours
  8. Serve chilled
