Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- ½ cup pitted dates (or raisins)
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch (for thickness)
- ½ cup fresh cream or thick yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 tablespoons chopped nuts (optional: almonds, cashews, peanuts)
Instructions (Blender Method)
- Add bananas, milk, dates, cream/yogurt, cornstarch, and vanilla to a blender
- Blend until completely smooth
- Pour mixture into a saucepan
- Cook on low heat, stirring constantly, until thick (5–7 minutes)
- Stir in chopped nuts
- Pour into cups or glasses
- Let cool, then refrigerate for 1–2 hours
- Serve chilled

Notes
- Riper bananas = sweeter dessert
- Dates add natural sweetness and texture
- Cooking activates the cornstarch—don’t skip this step
