Prep Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen; e.g., strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (or your preferred dairy-free alternative)
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk (or coconut milk)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or your choice of sweetener, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional Boosters:

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flax seeds (for extra fiber and omega-3s)
  • 1 handful of spinach (for an extra nutrient boost)
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored, for additional protein)
  • A few ice cubes (for a thicker, colder shake)

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Ingredients:
    • Measure out all ingredients. If using fresh berries and you prefer a chilled shake, have a few ice cubes ready.
  2. Combine in Blender:
    • Add the mixed berries, Greek yogurt, almond (or coconut) milk, honey, and vanilla extract into a blender.
    • If using any optional boosters (spinach, chia seeds, protein powder, or ice), add them as well.
  3. Blend Smooth:
    • Start blending on low speed, then gradually increase to high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
    • Stop and scrape down the sides if needed to ensure an even blend.
  4. Taste & Adjust:
    • Give the shake a quick taste. If you prefer it sweeter, add a bit more honey or your preferred sweetener, and blend again briefly.
  5. Serve Immediately:
    • Pour the shake into a tall glass. Optionally, garnish with a few whole berries on top for extra flair.
    • Enjoy your nutrient-packed Berry Blast Off Shake while it’s fresh and chilled!
