- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

π΄ Step 1: Prepare the Cake Batter
- Preheat oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F)
- Grease and line 2β3 round cake pans
- In a large bowl, mix:
- Flour
- Sugar
- Baking soda
- Cocoa powder
- Salt
- In another bowl, whisk:
- Oil
- Buttermilk
- Eggs
- Food coloring
- Vanilla
- Vinegar
- Slowly combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients.
- Mix until smooth (do not overmix).
π΄ Step 2: Bake the Cake
- Divide batter evenly into pans
- Bake for 25β30 minutes

β Let cakes cool completely
π Step 3: Make Strawberry Sauce
- In a pan, add:
- Strawberries
- Sugar
- Lemon juice
- Cook on medium heat until soft
- Add cornstarch mixture

- Beat butter until creamy
- Add cream cheese β beat until smooth
- Add powdered sugar gradually
- Mix in vanilla

- Place first cake layer
- Spread cream cheese frosting
- Add some strawberry sauce
- Place second layer
Repeat for all layers

- Cover whole cake with frosting
- Pour strawberry sauce on top (drip effect)
- Add fresh strawberries on top
