Contents:

1 head cauliflower, cut into small florets
1 head broccoli, chopped into bite-sized florets
3 tablespoons sesame oil
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons of water
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons sesame
Pepper and salt to taste

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
In a small bowl, whisk sesame oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, rice vinegar, cornstarch and water until smooth. Set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cauliflower and broccoli florets with garlic and ginger.
Pour the sauce over the vegetables and stir until evenly coated.
Spread the vegetables in a single layer on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper.
Roast the vegetables, stirring occasionally, for 20-25 minutes, until they soften and caramelize.
Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the roasted vegetables and place in the oven for another 5 minutes to brown the seeds.
Serve sesame cauliflower and broccoli hot as a side dish or over rice as a main course.
