Burgers

– 90/10 beef
– whatever seasonings you like
-super thinly sliced onions

Directions

-I use a 1/2 cup measuring cup, to measure the burgers so they are all the same size. Roll hamburger meat into balls.
– Season hamburger balls. I use a bbq rub we like.
– heat cast iron skillet to high (cast iron will give you that good crispy charred burger)
-Add a bit of oil to the pan
-drop hamburger balls into skillet. Don’t drop too many balls into skillet at once. You need space to smash your burgers.
-place sliced onions on top of hamburger balls and smash with spatula until burgers are the thickness you like.
-cook for 3ish minutes each side until you reach the temp you like.
I topped with cheese, avocado, and tons of special sauce!! And I found these new keto buns at Tom Thumb that were actually pretty good!
