Ingredients (Makes 4 Calzones)

For the Filling:

  • 1 cup cooked chicken breast (shredded or chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Optional: chopped spinach, mushrooms, or sun-dried tomatoes for variety

For the Dough:

  • 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
  • OR 2 large naan breads cut in half for shortcuts

For Topping:

  • 1 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese for sprinkling (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat & Prep

  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Roll out dough and cut into 4 equal rectangles or circles (6–8 inch rounds).

Step 2: Mix the Filling

  • In a bowl, mix cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, and mozzarella cheese.
  • Add optional mix-ins if desired (spinach, herbs, etc.).

Step 3: Assemble Calzones

  • Spoon filling onto one half of each dough piece, leaving a 1/2-inch border.
  • Fold over and pinch/seal edges with a fork.
  • Brush tops with melted butter + garlic powder + herbs.

Step 4: Air Fry to Golden Glory

  • Place calzones in single layer in air fryer basket (may need to do in batches).
  • Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes until golden and crispy.
  • Optionally, sprinkle with Parmesan halfway for extra crisp!
