These olive oil–marinated feta cubes are tangy, creamy, herby, and addictive — perfect on their own, with crackers, or tossed into salads.

🛒 Ingredients

  • 250g (8–9 oz) feta cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp crushed garlic (or garlic powder for milder flavor)
  • 1 tsp lemon zest (optional for brightness)
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: sliced olives, fresh thyme sprigs, or sun-dried tomatoes for extra depth

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cube the Feta
Cut feta into uniform bite-sized cubes. Pat gently with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Layer in a Bowl or Jar
Place cubes in a clean jar or dish. Sprinkle herbs, garlic, chili flakes, and lemon zest over.
  3. Add Olive Oil
Pour olive oil over the cheese until fully covered. Gently shake or stir to coat evenly.
  4. Chill & Marinate
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (ideally 24 hours) before serving.
  5. Serve
Bring to room temp before serving for the olive oil to liquefy. Use on salads, charcuterie boards, or eat straight with toothpicks.
