Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into thin strips
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the sliced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and smooth.
  7. Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir to coat the chicken with the Alfredo sauce.
  9. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the chicken is heated through and the flavors have melded together.
